Editorial Illustration for AARP’s “The Girlfriend” for the article “The one self-care tip that changed my life”. The girlfriend is geared towards women aged 45 and above, and the goal was to create an illustration that could subtly hint at what the self-care tip was.

The illustration uses a playful visual language, expressive characters, pattern, and warm color to complement the approachable tone of the article. While the space itself is well organised and beautiful, on closer observation one can notice how things are askew.
